So, it’s a lovely day. The sun is shining. There is a cool breeze. Even my parents don’t seem to be bothering me. Well that was until an hour ago. I recently learned that my parents were planning to take the cats, Ziggy and Kota, to get euthanized at 2:00. For any that don’t know, that means they give the cats a minor dosage of something to put them to sleep. Then after the animal is asleep, they add a second dosage that would be an overdose. It’s considered a peaceful way to die, very humane… Yea its wonderful! They get to die peacefully. So now I spend the last hour of their lives feeding them toys stuffed with catnip and wonder what it would be like without them. Seems like I get to find out soon enough.
